The union between the brotherhoods and brotherhoods of Passion, as well as an allusion to the closeness of the church and the Eucharist at a distance in a pandemic, are the stars of this year's poster.

The city of Coín already has an official poster to proclaim its Holy Week 2023. This past Friday the presentation of the poster by the artist Juan Carlos De la Torre took place, in an act jointly organized by the town council and the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesús Nazareno, representing this year the three Passion brotherhoods of the city. "This is the third year that we present a poster that brings together the brotherhoods of our town, in this way we can better sell and promote this beautiful tradition together so that all the people of Coín enjoy it and know it outside our borders. ”, highlighted the mayor of Coin, Francisco Santos. The event was attended, in addition to the mayor and author, by the Councilor for Culture, Dori Luque; the older brother of the Brotherhood of the Nazarene, Víctor Ramos; as well as other older brothers (Brotherhood Virgen de los Dolores and Brotherhood of Vera-Cruz) and representatives of other brotherhoods of glory, associations and groups in the city.

With a surreal gothic style, the author wanted to convey in the work the symbolic idiosyncrasies of Holy Week in Coín, represented by the Nazarenes of both corporations in the lower central part, and by a cross as a memory of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. De la Torre made special thanks to the work of the parish priests during the pandemic, adapting their media and bringing the Faith closer through live mass broadcasts. In addition, he felt very proud and grateful for putting up the image that represents Holy Week in Coin this 2023. "The work carried out by the brotherhoods of our municipality is essential for the maintenance and enhancement of our traditions and, therefore, from this team of government, we are going to continue supporting this joint work in favor of our traditions," he said. Santos praised the work of the brotherhoods and brotherhoods that they carry out throughout the year, as well as invited them to continue opening the brotherhoods to the people and youth, "because they are the future of our Holy Week".

The presentation took place at the Casa de la Cultura and featured performances by the San Juan Choir and the violinist Paula Moon from Coin. In addition, in the same act, the older brother of the organizing brotherhood, Víctor Ramos, also delivered the tapas to the next town crier, D. Antonio Espíldora, a neighbor committed to the social activity of the municipality and who will be in charge On March 25, we will give voice to the Coineña Holy Week of this 2023.
