Coín will host a Tapas Route from November 3 to 6 that will include a free urban train
Nearly twenty hospitality businesses participate in this new route, both restaurants and cafeterias and cocktail bars, and the price of a tapa or cocktail is 3 euros. From November 3 to 6, Coín will be a gastronomic showcase that can be tasted through nearly twenty establishments. This is a new Tapas Route that brings together both restaurants and cafeterias or cocktail bars, which will serve tapas with soft drinks, coffee with dessert or cocktails, for a modest price of three euros. "It will be a success both for the number of participating establishments and for the quality of the products, since all the tapas include local and seasonal products, so it will be a showcase of our Coineña gastronomy", highlighted Miguel Vázquez, Councilor for Commerce of the Coín City Council, during the presentation of the event organized by the Coín Emprende merchants association, sponsored by the City Council, the Malaga Provincial Council and Cruzcampo. "We invite all citizens and the entire province in general to take advantage of this event to get to know our gastronomy and the rich hospitality of our town," said Eugenio Aguas, vice-secretary of the Coín Emprende trade sector table. To carry out this route, the different hospitality businesses will provide passport covers so that customers fill in a minimum of 16 boxes to be able to participate in a raffle with numerous prizes. These covers can be delivered until the last week of November. The awards ceremony will take place between December 12 and 16. This, in terms of users, but hoteliers will also have a prize. That same week of December, the prizes for the best tapa, the best service and the best presentation of the tapa will be awarded. These prizes will be determined by the public participating in the route itself. To facilitate transit through the different establishments, a free urban train will be set up to connect the different hospitality areas of the municipality and thus benefit the initiative itself and all participating businesses. Los establecimientos de Coín participantes son: Bodegón de Casa Antonio, Restaurante Casa Paco, Bar Zurich, Bar Al-Andalus, Pastelería La Fuensanta, Agüepan, Coco-Nut Tapas, Pomelo, Cosmopolitan, Bar Migente, La Romana, Bar La Torre, Jomara, Venta Pedro Lucena, Cafetería Alameda, El Rincón de Carmen, Bar Cordero, Pizzería El Forno II y la Birrería.
